
Yuehe Ge received the BEng and MSC
degrees in radio engineering from Nanjing University of Posts
and Telecommunications, Nanjing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic
engineering from Macquarie University,
Sydney, Australia, in 1988, 1991, and 2002, respectively.
From 1991 to 1999, he was with Nanjing Marine Radar Institute, China, working on R & D of radar antennas and microwave components. Since 2002, he has been a research fellow in the Department of Electronics, Macquarie University, Australia. His research interests involve numerical methods for electromagnetics, antenna development for radar and communication applications, electromagnetic band gap (EBG) Structures/ photonic crystals, metamaterials and their applications to antennas.
Dr Ge received 2000 IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship Awards, 2002 Max Symons Memorial Prize of IEEE NSW Section, Australia, for the best student paper and 2004 Macquarie Innovation Awards. He is listed in Who’s Who in the World.
