I was born in Eskisehir, Turkey in 1980. I received the B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey in 2002 and the M.Sc. degree in wireless communication engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden in 2004. I am currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. I am a holder of the International Macquarie University Research Scholarship.
Since 2005, I have been a member of the research group Centre for Electromagnetic and Antenna Engineering (CELANE) at Macquarie University. I am currently a student member of IEEE and I serve as the Vice-Chair of the Macquarie University IEEE student branch. My research interests include analysis and design of compact metamaterials, planar electromagnetic bandgap structures and their applications to microwave circuits and antennas. |
